Income and Expenditure Survey 2022/23

The datasets contain information of the Income and Expenditure Survey conducted by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) between September 2022 and August 2023 (IES 2022/2023). The Income and Expenditure Survey (IES) is designed to collect information on items and services acquired by South African households, various sources of income acquired by participating households (monetary or in-kind) and details as to how they spent this income (on expenditure, remittances, etc.).
